Festival International de Jazz de Montréal offers more than 400 concerts over about ten days each summer.
On June 29, the festival opens with the Salute to New Orleans starring the Neville Brothers. On Tuesday, July 4, the Grand Événement General Motors pays tribute to singersongwriter Paul Simon, and the delirious music of Goran Bregovic and his Weddings and Funerals Orchestra closes the party on Sunday, July 9.
