Monterey Jazz Next Generation Festival April 21-23, 2006

This is an extensive competition on the High School, (big band, vocal and combo), middle school,(big band) and collegiate, (big band) levels. There are numerous high schools and organizations set to participate and the adjudicators are all accomplished Jazz performers and educators. Looks to be a wonderful and exciting event with the winners performing at the 49th annual Monterey Jazz festival this summer.
