The Spot Festivals is a MUST for everyone with an interest in new music trends and the music acts of tomorrow.

Through a continuous and ongoing focus on new Danish and Nordic music, the SPOT FESTIVAL, arranged by ROSA - The Danish Rock Council, has earned a reputation as being the most important event of its kind in Denmark And that's a feeling shared both by the audience, which is curious about what tomorrow's music will bring AND by the music business, which year after year returns to the festival, making it an annual meeting point.

First of all the Spot Festivals focuses on live music. For two days and from eight-nine stages we present about 90 acts representing almost every aspect of the music scene: Rock, pop, electronica, jazz, folk, worldmusic, R&B, hiphop etc.

All delivered by Danish/Nordic acts, which have either made their way to the front of the music scene since the last festival, or belong to the group of acts breaking ground right now. This is the music which is forming and developing the music scene, that all of us long to listen to tomorrow. To be precise: Music with personality and ambition.

Off stage there'll be plenty of debates, panel discussions, workshops etc. where nordic as well as international representatives from the wide world of music will throw new light on the possibilities and conditions for growth in the music industry and music as such - finding new pathways for development of the music and the surroundings and forms it can be presented in.
