About Me:
Once was called a cross between Jack Kerouac & Bessie Smith, but I'm more Dylan than Jack with Miles & Joni vibes. Also a visual artist with Freestyle stream of consciousness/political bites/rhymes for the times....some old school roots with current content. Have published, some recording, organized performances in small venues in NYC-- Duos,Trios, small improvisational groups etc. I play some piano at times. Large body of work includes blues lyrics.

Preferences:
As long as the vibe is right and I'm comfortable - I'll see if the shoe fits & wear it.

MyManagement:

Style:
I'm not wallpaper - I'm front & center WORDS -sometimes spoken/sometimes sung/sometimes gospel-y/sometimes funny. Provocative, warm, sensual voice.

Expertise:
Original writing - smart, sexy, funny, topical with unique vocals and broad musical tastes and influences.

Forte:
Can do & have done solo performances - have developed my own bluesy/jazzy style of delivery of my writing.

AdditionalInfo:
Looking to collaborate with instrumentalists who are more established, experienced recording and/or performing who want to add strong vocal "content" to their existing combos (for a steady or single gig). Otherwise I tend to stay in and keep creating solo - Like Jim Morrison joining up with The Doors - want to start a new era. Why not??
